L’Université de Genève (UNIGE) offre un environnement professionnel multiculturel, avec des laboratoires de recherche utilisant des technologies de pointe, une dynamique d’échanges scientifiques soutenue entre les différents départements concernés.

Afin de contribuer à un projet translationnel visant à relier les découvertes fondamentales en neurosciences aux applications cliniques, grâce au développement et à l’application d’approches computationnelles avancées (intelligence artificielle interprétable, science des réseaux complexes, méthodes de machine learning) le laboratoire de la Pre Camilla BELLONE recherche un-e

Maître assistant-e à 100%

La personne engagée devra être très motivée et capable de développer et conduire des projets de manière indépendante, en lien avec les thématiques centrales du laboratoire : circuits neuronaux, fonctions sociales et dysfonctionnements psychiatriques.

Titre et compétences exigés

Doctorat en informatique, physique, mathématiques appliquées, neurosciences computationnelles ou domaine équivalent.

Expérience de recherche postdoctorale dans l’application de méthodes avancées d’analyse de données, incluant apprentissage automatique, analyse de réseaux complexes ou traitement de données multimodales (IRM, EEG, imagerie calcique, enregistrements multi-électrodes).

Expérience avérée en première / auteure de publications scientifiques dans ces domaines.

Capacité à concevoir, adapter et perfectionner des pipelines analytiques permettant d’exploiter des ensembles de données complexes, dans une perspective translationnelle.

Solide connaissance des approches computationnelles innovantes susceptibles d’étendre les capacités méthodologiques du laboratoire.

La personne engagée aura la charge d’encadrer des étudiants de master en neuroscience ou d’étudiants en stage de bachelor ou master et de contribuer à des enseignements sur le thème de l’intelligence artificielle et neuroscience computationnelle, selon les besoins du laboratoire. Une expérience d’encadrement d’étudiants et d’enseignement est donc nécessaire.

In order to contribute to a translational project aimed at linking fundamental discoveries in neuroscience to clinical applications through the development and application of advanced computational approaches (interpretable artificial intelligence, complex network science, machine learning methods), Professor Camilla Bellone’s laboratory is seeking a

Full‑time Maître Assistant

The successful candidate must be highly motivated and capable of developing and leading projects independently, in line with the laboratory’s core themes : neural circuits, social functions, and psychiatric disorders.

Required qualifications and skills

PhD in computer science, physics, applied mathematics, computational neuroscience, or equivalent field.

Postdoctoral research experience in the application of advanced data analysis methods, including machine learning, complex network analysis, or multimodal data processing (MRI, EEG, calcium imaging, multi‑electrode recordings).

Proven experience as first / corresponding author of scientific publications in these fields.

Ability to design, adapt, and refine analytical pipelines for exploiting complex datasets from a translational perspective.

Solid knowledge of innovative computational approaches likely to expand the laboratory’s methodological capabilities.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising master’s students in neuroscience or bachelor’s or master’s students on internships and contributing to teaching on the theme of artificial intelligence and computational neuroscience, according to the laboratory’s needs. Experience in student supervision and teaching is therefore necessary.
