Description de posteExperience with Open Science, preferably with a deep understanding of Open Science practices in a science domain; Experience with community engagement; Experience in designing and delivering educational programs / interventions Experience with presenting at events Experience with work in a research environment Knowledge of physics / particle physics is an advantage. You are a national of a . You have a professional background in Electronic engineering (or a related field) and have either : a Master's degree with 2 to 6 years of post-graduation professional experience;or a PhD with no more than 3 years of post-graduation professional experience. You have never had a CERN fellow or graduate contract before. A monthly stipend ranging between 6212 and 6828 Swiss Francs per month (net of tax) . Coverage by CERN's comprehensive health scheme (for yourself, your spouse and children), and membership of the CERN Pension Fund . Depending on your individual circumstances : installation grant; family, child and infant allowances; payment of travel expenses at the beginning and end of contract. 30 days of paid leave per year . On-the-job and formal training at CERN as well as in-house language courses for English and / or French.
Job Description
Your responsibilities
You will work in a small team within which supports the implementation of the CERN Open Science policy signed in 2022.
More specifically, you will take on the following responsibilities :
- Design the CERN Open Science community engagement strategy, e.g. analyze the needs and gaps and define the corresponding project plan
- Design and implement educational interventions to promote improved Open Science practice across CERN community
- Support concrete implementation projects of the OS Policy
- Support monitoring framework for Open Science together with the community
- Participate in cross-CERN initiatives to advance Open Science;
- Provide user / community support

Contract duration : 24 months, with a possible extension up to 36 months maximum.
