Community Officer F/M
Role Summary
We are looking for a Community Officer to join our team to play a key role in building, engaging, and nurturing the institute’s communities.
The Community Officer creates platforms to facilitate collaboration between the institute and its communities, and cultivates vibrant communities that inspire members to connect, learn, and share their experiences.
The Community Officer engage entrepreneurs, alumni, and external partners and researchers. We plan for this role to be -% FTE, initially for two years.
Duties include
- Identify and attract potential community members
- Create a welcoming and inclusive experience for all members
- Develop a strong sense of community identity to retain members
- Maintain and actively participate in community discussions and respond to comments and questions
- Monitor the sentiment and engagement level of the community and address any issues or suggestions raised by members
- In collaboration with the Communications Officer, develop engaging content that resonates with the community
- In collaboration with the Events Officer, organize hackathons, workshops, webinars, and meetups
- Prepare regular reports on community performance and insights
Your profile
- Experience with community management tools and platforms
- Strong understanding of AI and machine learning concepts
- Ability to write engaging and informative content
- Passion for building and nurturing communities
- Excellent interpersonal skills and proactive approach to community engagement
- Excellent communication (oral and written) and presentation skills
- Excellent organizational, planning and time management abilities
- Skilled at building relationships with stakeholders from diverse cultural and professional backgrounds
Required language
Fluency in English and French. German and Italian are pluses.
