IC Accountant
The Scenic Group is a leading luxury global travel company with offices around the world and has grown over its 37-year history to include all-inclusive escorted tours;
two award-winning river cruise lines Scenic and Emerald Cruises; and in 2019, the World’s First Discovery Yacht Scenic Eclipse.
We are looking for an independent and team-oriented personality with immediate effect or by arrangement for the position as IC Accountant (m / f) 80% Responsibilities
- Preparing all IC recharging files prior to the start of the cruise season
- Issuing AR IC invoices on a weekly basis and updating in Accounting system
- Posting of AP IC invoices
- Ensuring the accuracy of AR invoices issued
- Liaising with IC Accountants working in other jurisdictions
- Reconciling and confirming IC balances on a monthly basis
- Preparing monthly IC elimination entries for consolidation purposes
- Keeping an updated database of all AR IC invoices issued
- Training team members to be the IC Accountant’s back up
- Any other reporting as required by the Group Experience and Qualifications
- A completed degree in accounting and / or commercial degree
- At least 3 years of experience in accounting positions
- Experienced working in a similar role, preferably in a multinational environment
- Used to work in global teams
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office programs
- Experience in SAGE300 and / or Oracle NetSuite is a plus
- Fluent in English (German is a plus)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
