Innovation Engineer - Embedded Systems

Your main challenges
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in our Corporate Accelerator to design exciting new products, from prototyping to series production.
- Develop, test, and maintain firmware for System on Module (SoM) boards used in our new industrial automation products.
- Lead coding standard definition and ensure that they are met.
- Prepare and conduct testing and troubleshooting of prototypes at customer sites.
- Identify areas for improvement and define the next step for product enhancements.
- Collaborate with customers and provide technical support, addressing any concerns or issues that arise during the commissioning phase.
What we look for
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Broad experience in C++ application development and software system architecture for embedded systems from concept to production, with focus on DSP and / or industrial automation systems.
- Knowledge of driver development and industrial protocols, e.g. Modbus, SPI, I2C.
- Experience with buildroot embedded Linux OS on custom hardware
- Familiarity with System on Module (SoM) boards.
- Experience with Yocto and / or PetaLinux is a significant advantage.
- Ability to interpret electrical documentation, such as wiring diagrams, is a significant advantage.
- Familiarity with LabView, Matlab / Simulink and Python is a plus.
- Experience with Agile workflows.
