Head of Marketing

Role description

Arethia is looking for an experienced, dynamic and hands-on Head of Marketing to lead our marketing team and drive the overall strategy for our brands.

As Head of Marketing, you will work directly with our CEO and lead a talented team of creative and analytical professionals to establish Arethia as the fastest-growing contender in the flavour industry.

Your focus will be to provide strategic direction and drive both customer and candidate engagement as we launch into the Food & Beverage space.

Your Mission

• Strategic Leadership
• Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with the company's goals and objectives. Drive brand positioning, messaging, and value proposition across all channels.
• Identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape to optimize campaign effectiveness.
• Management of Department
• Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing marketing team, including best-in-class freelancers across various regions and foster a culture of creativity, collaboration, and accountability.
• Establish and deploy processes, Ways of Working, and tools to support growth and efficiency.
• Manage the marketing budget and allocate resources effectively across channels and campaigns.
• Brand Management & Marketing
• Oversee the development and execution of brand initiatives, ensuring consistent messaging and a strong brand presence in the market.
• Lead digital marketing efforts, including SEO / SEM, social media, email & content marketing, and more. Leverage data-driven strategies to maximize ROI and customer engagement.
• Collaborate with the Product and Sales teams to develop go-to-market strategies for new taste solutions and manage successful product launches.
• Establish KPIs and metrics to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns. Use analytics tools to track performance and adjust strategies as needed.
• Employer Branding, Public Relations & Communications
• Oversee the company's employer branding initiatives in collaboration with our People and Culture function.
• Manage public relations efforts, media relations, press releases, and develop communication strategies to enhance the company’s public image.

Minimum Qualifications

• University degree with outstanding performance, preferably in business, marketing or communications or equivalent work experience
• 7+ years of professional experience in Marketing, preferably in a fast-growth environment, with a minimum of 3-5 years in a senior marketing leadership role
• Proven track record of building and leading a successful, multidisciplinary marketing team and strong skills in team building, mentoring, and fostering creativity.
• Driven, hands-on leader with strong decision-making abilities and attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational, planning and prioritization skills with proven ability to build from scratch while taking ownership and responsibility.
• Fluency in English and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the Flavour & Fragrance Industry
• Fluency in German
