Senior Photonic Integrated Circuits Design Engineer
Your mission
- Simulate and design photonic integrated circuits and devices
- Drive the development of new products and technologies as well as projects with customers
- Closely collaborate with the R&D and product development team to bring new products to the market
- Translate device operational specifications into mask layouts
- Contribute to software development for simulation tools and mask layout tools, including PDK
Your profile
- M aster’s degree or higher in engineering , physics , or similar
- 4 + years of industry experience in high-tech engineering environment
- In-depth experience and expertise in at least three of the following :
- Photonic e lectromagnetic field simulations
- RF PCB design and RF electromagnetic field simulation
- C ode-based mask layout design for photonic IC’s , experience in working with external PDKs , libraries , and DRC is a plus.
- In-depth k now-how of P IC design , fabrication and testing processes
- Strong background in optical communications or high-frequency electrical or electro-optical characterization (>
40 GHz)
- Excellent software development skills with Python with experience in collaborative code maintenance and version control
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects simultaneously with proven success in meeting deadlines.
- Team player with s trong communication and interpersonal skills
