Cloud Architect / System Administrator

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Certified System Administrator and Cloud Architect to manage and lead large, complex projects focused on Backup / Restore , Disaster Recovery , Business Continuity , and IT Service Continuity .

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in cloud-based projects and a deep understanding of IT infrastructure, with the ability to bridge the gap between business and technical teams.

The role will involve gathering and managing requirements from diverse stakeholders and ensuring successful project execution and delivery.

Key Responsibilities :

Project Management :

Lead and manage large, complex projects that involve Backup / Restore, Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity, and IT service continuity, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical feasibility.

Cloud Architecture & System Administration :

Design, implement, and manage cloud-based infrastructure solutions with a focus on scalability, security, and reliability.

Serve as the subject matter expert in cloud architecture and system administration.

Backup & Disaster Recovery Planning :

Develop, test, and maintain robust disaster recovery and business continuity plans, ensuring readiness for any disruptions in service or infrastructure failures.

Business & IT Collaboration :

Gather and translate business requirements into technical specifications, collaborating with both business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure seamless integration of IT solutions into the overall business strategy.

IT Infrastructure Management :

Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure that supports backup, recovery, and continuity operations, ensuring high availability and performance.

Risk Management & Mitigation :

Identify potential risks to business continuity and IT services, proposing and implementing mitigation strategies to ensure minimal impact on operations during outages or failures.

• Certified System Administrator
• Certified Cloud Architect (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

Experience :

• Proven experience managing large, complex projects with a focus on Backup / Restore, Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity, or IT Service Continuity.
• Extensive experience working on cloud-based projects with a deep understanding of cloud technologies, including AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure from a business perspective, with the ability to align technology solutions with organizational goals.
• Demonstrated success in gathering and managing requirements from business stakeholders and technical teams.

Skills :

• Strong project management skills, including the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
