Embedded Software Engineer - Automotive Industry
For the development of the new generation of actuators, the dynamic Software Team of Johnson Electric International AG in Murten (Switzerland) is looking for an Embedded Software Engineer with solid experience in the definition of embedded systems for products composed of software and mechatronic.
Your responsibilities will be to :
Analyze the customer requirements and define the system solution
Create functional requirements and software specification
Define the detailed design and code in C language
Keep contact with customers for the definition of new products or for the support in case of field issues
Work according to the development process based on automotive standards and ASPICE process
Lead, track, monitor and report embedded software design activities and validation activities
Create software validation test plan
Define motor parameters dimensioning (measures, tests, reports)
Interact with the Johnson Electric Software Teams worldwide (Europe, India, China)
Collaborate to the develop the standardized software architecture
Our requirements :
Confirmed knowledge in embedded system / software engineering with C programming language ideally on small micro-controller (bare metal)
Engineering Degree in software, electronics, or mechatronics engineering
3+ years of experience in developing embedded systems / software
High level in English and French is mandatory, German knowledge is an asset
Engineering degree in electronics, mechatronics, or software engineering
Team player and facilitator spirit
Good communication skills
Experience with the followings would be advantageous :
Electrical motors (BLDC, Stepper) driving methods
UML for Embedded Systems
Communication bus
System modeling with MATLAB / Simulink and code generation
Digital and analog electronics
Automotive domain
