Embedded Software Engineer

More about the role

• Specification, implementation and test of wireless protocols and firmware on a resource constrained system
• Continuous integration and test driven development on specific hardware
• Programming in Python and C / C++ in embedded environment
• Creation of technical notes and documentation
• Interfacing with internal and external partners on a technical level
• Ensuring high code quality, clean code and adequate test coverage, including maintenance and bug fixing
• Integration of new software features across systems with other development teams
• Contribution to agile development processes (planning, reviews, team rituals)

More about you

BSc in Computer Science or Electrical / Electronic Engineering with strong programming skills

Proficient in C / C++ on resource-constrained embedded systems and Python scripting

Min. 4 years of professional experience in software engineering

Knowledge of hardware debugging tools such as oscilloscope, logic analyzer, etc.

Experience working with Git version control in development teams (~10 people)

Strong experience with wireless communication protocols, including Bluetooth stack development

Ability to adapt to a dynamic and changing environment

Excellent command of English; French or German are an advantage
