Global Category Manager - Pharma
Global Category Manager vacancy for a globally operating Zurich based company in the pharmaceutical sector .
Your tasks :
- Developing and implementing procurement strategies for various categories
- Leading cross-functional project teams to create added value within the categories
- Analyzing complex financial data using TCO, TEI, NPV, and cost modeling
- Managing procurement processes and contract management
- Adapting to an ever-changing, complex environment and contributing to process improvement
Your experience / knowledge :
- 7+ years of in-depth strategic and operational procurement experience with a strong understanding of category management
- 7+ years of overall business experience, including working within a regulated industry
- Strong sub-category expertise and a proven track record in sourcing
- Capability of leading cross-functional project teams to generate material value across multiple categories
- Direct experience in managing category management projects and developing sourcing strategies
- Proven financial and business acumen, including TCO, TEI, NPV, and cost modeling, as well as exceptional communication and project management skills
Your soft skills :
- Ability to communicate effectively is crucial for working in cross-functional project teams and for success in negotiations, conflict resolution, and stakeholder management
- Willingness and ability to adapt to an ever-changing and complex environment and contribute to process improvement demonstrate adaptability
