Location

The role is based in Zug, Switzerland and does not offer relocation assistance. Candidates must have the right to work in Switzerland or be an EU national with plans to permanently relocate to Switzerland.

The Role

The Commercial Finance Manager will work with Sales and Marketing teams across the organization to deliver key results, including analysis and optimization of commercial opportunities, brand health and market expansion.

The successful candidate will lead and implement long-term process enhancements and tools to consolidate commercial analysis and reporting across the EMEA region.

Hybrid work model, 4 days in the office and 1 day home office.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert financial and commercial analysis and support to Sales leadership, driving financial performance and commercially sound decision making.
• Support Sales and Marketing planning activities to ensure goals and accountability are achieved across all markets.
• Deliver periodic forecasting of commercial activities and market trend analysis.
• Conduct financial reviews and qualification of commercial opportunities, including margin and profitability analysis across the entire opportunity life cycle.
• Develop and implement an allocation methodology to capture costs completely and accurately.
• Take responsibility for managing and delivering projects.
• Reporting : deliver reports, dashboards, and in-house developed tools to provide clarity and understanding of financial performance and drive sound decision-making.
• Address ad-hoc requests from management and proactively report on relevant business intelligence as deemed necessary / appropriate.
• Identify process gaps and other improvement opportunities to make recommendations on how to improve the quality of data gathering, internal controls, and best practises.

Key Skills and Experience Required

• University degree in accounting, finance, or other business discipline.
• Very strong Microsoft Office skills, namely Excel and reporting tools (Power BI).
• Conceptual and critical thinking to impact and influence decisions with focus on process design and continuous improvements.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization and manage / prioritize multiple responsibilities.
• Ability to drive results in a high-growth, high-paced business environment.
• Experience with budgeting, financial planning and analysis.
• Strong business acumen and experience in providing financial expertise and support to a commercial organization.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Senior Finance / Business analyst in FMCG
