The Diabetes Center Berne (DCB) is a private, independent Swiss foundation dedicated to making life with diabetes easier. DCB supports innovative ideas and projects in the field of diabetes technology worldwide by offering expertise, access to clinical research facilities, and its own state-of-the-art laboratories. To support our mission, we are currently looking for a Data Scientist.

Tasks

• Develop, implement and apply semi-physiological models for glucose-insulin metabolism
• Analyse complex datasets (high resolution medical device data) using advanced statistical and mathematical models
• Strengthen DCB’s data science capabilities and contribute to its visibility
• Support start-ups and partners in tasks related to data science, such as algorithm development or validation
• Identify elements and software components to build up the DCB data infrastructure
• Provide programming for statistical analysis where required; review and generate study metrics and status reports within and across several studies
• Manage, store and process data in accordance with data transfer agreements and client-specific requirements
• Write, review, and approve study data analysis documents in compliance with DCB or client SOPsCollaborate closely with clinical project managers and other data team members
