Core Responsibilities
As the Quality Specialist, you will be the gatekeeper for component excellence, ensuring strict adherence to specifications :
Lead the dimensional and visual verification of incoming materials and components.
Master the operation of specialized equipment, including the 2.5D optical measuring machine and the surface measurement device.
Execute custom measurements essential for new product development or in the investigation of quality complaints.
Generate detailed inspection reports and formally record pass / fail decisions directly within the SAP system.
Systematically document and track defects, ensuring the effective segregation of non-conforming or suspicious items.
Perform sample testing on internal CNC-machined parts.
Support the resolution and processing of quality issues and corrective actions with suppliers.
Candidate Profile
The ideal individual will possess the following background and attributes :
Educational Foundation : Successful completion of a basic technical or mechanical apprenticeship / qualification.
Experience : Proven experience (several years) working in a dedicated quality control or inspection role.
Technical Acumen : Strong proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings.
Language Skills : Fluent written and spoken German is essential; English proficiency is a beneficial asset.
Tool Proficiency : Skillful use of conventional metrology tools and standard business software (MS Office).
System Knowledge : Initial experience or familiarity with the SAP system is a plus.
Work Style : A quick learner who is capable of structured and independent task management.
Interpersonal Skills : A collaborative, supportive, and accountable team player.
