We are currently working with an industry leader in the energy sector.
Our client is now looking for a
Senior) Legal Counsel EMEA (m / f / d)
to join the global legal team and to be based in the company’s HQ in Zug / Switzerland. The role will work very closely with the international business and will have a special focus on the EMEA region.
In this position, you will advise the business and management on a broad range of legal matters such as commercial, contract and corporate law. You will draft and review complex contracts, negotiate terms with outside parties and give legal advice on tenders in the EMEA region. You will also support on litigation and compliance matters and assist in policy drafting with a focus on the company’s ESG commitments and obligations.
You are a qualified lawyer with relevant work experience from a renowned law firm and / or an international company. You will have a profound understanding and knowledge of commercial law and excellent negotiating and contract drafting skills. Fluency in German and English is mandatory for this role, ideally you will also have French language skills. You will have excellent communication skills and you will also be able to build and maintain strong professional relationships across the business.
