Job Overview :

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Maternity Nurse or Nanny to provide specialized care for a newborn due in December.

The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable in newborn care and will primarily assist the family during the late afternoon, evening, and night hours.

Key Responsibilities :

• Provide attentive and loving care for the newborn, including feeding, changing, bathing, and soothing.
• Establish and maintain a routine for the baby's care, including feeding and sleep schedules.
• Offer guidance and support to the parents on newborn care and development.
• Monitor the baby’s health and development, recognizing any signs of concern.
• Prepare bottles and assist with breastfeeding, if required.
• Help with light household tasks related to the baby, such as laundry and maintaining a clean and organized nursery.
• Be available for support during the night to ensure the baby and parents are well-rested.

Requirements

• Valid Swiss Work Permit or EU Passport.
• Proven experience as a Maternity Nurse or Nanny specializing in newborn care.
• Strong understanding of newborn development, care routines, and safety protocols.
• Patience, empathy, and a calm demeanor, especially in challenging situations.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with parents to ensure a cohesive care approach.
• Relevant certifications in newborn care, first aid, and CPR are preferred.
