As a Senior Test Automation Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and performance of the company's core banking systems, including Avaloq, as well as other in-house applications.
You will take charge of building and maintaining an extensive suite of automated test cases, working proactively and independently to enhance the organization's testing frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts based on given specifications.
- Continuously improve the automation test coverage.
- Ensure the automated tests run smoothly and resolve any failures.
- Execute test cases and provide detailed analysis and validation reports.
- Enhance the existing test automation framework.
- Support and contribute to the improvement of CI / CD pipelines.
Your Profile
Education : Higher education in IT or a related field (University / FH) or equivalent practical experience.
Experience : A minimum of 5 years in Test Automation.
Technical Skills :
Strong programming knowledge.
Advanced proficiency in Excel and SQL.
Familiarity with system architectures, APIs, and experience with Avaloq (preferred).
Understanding of CI / CD pipelines, distributed systems, and microservices architecture.
Soft Skills : Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate across all business levels.
Languages : Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Portuguese and / or German is advantageous.
