Responsibilities

  • develop and refine conversational flows and scripts for chatbots, virtual assistants, and other conversational interfaces to ensure they are intuitive, engaging, and effective.
  • conduct user research and gather feedback to understand user needs, preferences, and pain points. Use these insights to inform and improve conversational design.
  • work closely with product managers, UX designers, developers, and other stakeholders to align conversational designs with overall product goals and user experience strategies.
  • write clear, concise, and natural-sounding dialogue for various conversational scenarios, ensuring consistency in tone and voice.
  • maintaining clean, modular, readable conversation design documentation for our products that's able to scale.
  • create prototypes of conversational interactions and conduct usability testing to gather feedback and iterate on designs.
  • analyze user interactions and conversation logs to identify areas for improvement and optimize conversational flows.
  • keep up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in conversational design, AI, and user experience.
  • evangelizing the importance of conversation design within the organization.

Your team

As a Conversation Designer in the Experience Design Centre of Excellence, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of humanputer interaction.

Your expertise

  • proven experience in conversational design, UX writing, or a related field. Experience with AI-driven chatbots or virtual assistants is a plus.
  • strong understanding of natural language processing (NLP) and machine learning concepts. Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, or similar.
  • ability to create engaging and natural conversational experiences that delight users.
  • strong analytical skills to interpret data and make informed design decisions.
  • excellent written and verbalmunication skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and rationale clearly.
  • nice to have : experience with LLMs, prompt engineering
  • nice to have : experience with conversation design software like Voiceflow, Cognigy, , Human First, Rasa.
  • education : Bachelor's degree in Design, Humanputer Interaction,puter Science, Linguistics, or a related field. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
