Senior Business Controller (100%)

Responsibilities :

• Financial Analysis : evaluate and analyse financial data, including budgets, forecasts, and performance metrics. Provide actionable insights to senior management.
• Reporting : prepare comprehensive financial reports, highlighting key performance indicators and trends. Present findings to senior management.
• Budgeting : collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and manage the group budget. Monitor budget adherence and recommend corrective actions.
• Process Improvement : financial reporting, and other accounting functions to enhance efficiency.
• Financial Controls : develop, implement, and maintain financial controls and guidelines to ensure compliance.
• Risk Management : identify and mitigate financial risks by applying company policies and procedures.

Qualifications / requirements :

• Master’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. Professional qualification such as Swiss CPA, ACCA is a plus.
• 5-10 years proven experience as a Business Controller or similar role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret complex financial data and make informed decisions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Familiarity with industry-specific accounting practices.
• Fluency in English, German an advantage.
• Excellent knowledge of SAP R / 3 or S / 4.
