Senior Analog IC Design Engineer

I am looking to help my client expand their design team in Switzerland with a Senior Analog IC Design Engineer.

In this pivotal role, the selected engineer will be instrumental in implementing analog components for our cutting-edge ultra-low power Integrated Circuits (ICs) and will actively participate in the integration of these components into top-level IC designs.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to :

• Participate in feasibility studies and contribute to architecture definitions for new products.
• Develop low-power analog Intellectual Property (IP) blocks, including specification, schematic and layout CMOS, and SOI design, as well as Spice simulation.
• Contribute to the integration of analog IP blocks in complex mixed-signal System-on-Chip (SoC) designs.
• Generate detailed specifications and verification plans for analog components and IC designs.
• Evaluate and characterise IC components in the laboratory setting.
• Lead small teams on sub-projects within the larger design initiatives.
• Provide support for production test development and final circuit qualification.
• Contribute to the enhancement of design methodology and design flow.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical engineering, microelectronics, or equivalent.
• Experience in analog IC design, covering schematic, layout, and simulation.
• Extensive understanding of semiconductor physics and IC processes.
• Strong English written and verbal communication skills.
