Key Responsibilities :

  • Responsible to help deploy and enforce the program / project methodology of the ingredients division in line with existing dsm-firmenich standards and project management best practices (e.g., PMI).
  • Creation of, and monitoring / reporting on Ingredients business case(s). Alignment and collaboration with stakeholders as required.
  • Consolidation of and reporting on the Ingredients Project Portfolio to the INDEX and other stakeholders, including review of the overall portfolio and / or specific projects, timelines, issues, risks, resourcing, budgets and After-Action Reviews (AAR).

Escalation and resolution of issues and risks as required.

  • Develop and nurture Project Management competencies within the ingredients division, mentoring Project Managers and providing hands-on support for initiative delivery as required.
  • Instill project management culture and fact-based assessments of project progress and benefit delivery in the ingredient’s organization.

Indirect management of Project Managers to align them with division objectives and standards in support of initiative delivery.

Ensure a fact-based understanding of prioritization and working with limited resources to deliver what is important.

You Bring :

  • Demonstrated track record of delivery in Project Management (PMI or PRINCE2 certification preferred).
  • Demonstrated definition of fact-based project performance KPIs.
  • Demonstrated facility with project benefit case generation and monitoring.
  • Demonstrated Change Management competencies, including the ability to report on portfolio / project status at all organizational levels.
  • Resilient, quickly able to defuse high-stress situations. Can work across multiple geographies and org units.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken. Written and oral fluency in French is a plus.
