Job Description

As a financial business partner supporting Supply chain development, we strive to deliver actionable insights and value-adding analysis to support and challenge the business and enable more effective, fact-based decision making.

Working with our business partners, we ensure a sound and accurate resource planning and enable the organisation to actively deliver on agreed objectives, create visibility and help set measurable, quantifiable and other targets.

We support with a clearly defined structure and criteria to evaluate and prioritise relevant actions with an end-to-end perspective, based on a good data foundation on which transparent and comparable decisions can be made

About the role

We are now looking for a Business Analyst to strengthen our team.

As a Business Analyst you will be an active business partner by supporting the navigation of business performance by delivering relevant, accurate and fact-based business analytics at the right time, based on business needs.

You are the business analytics expert that can convert complex and large data sets into facts that in turn deliver to actionable insights and receiver friendly performance reports.

Among others your assignments is to :

  • provide business analytics and support in monitoring, analysing and following up on business performance
  • assist with business impact analysis through scenario planning, modelling and risk assessment
  • contributing to the development of business analysis approaches and business intelligence tools, actively engaging in the relevant matrixes & networks
  • simplification and automation of standard processes to enable our business partners and ourselves to analyse more efficiently, draw conclusions and overcome challenges & support
  • contribute to business development and innovation by analysing the business impact of different scenarios, through scenario planning, modelling, risk assessment and contingency planning
  • act as an ambassador for a performance culture and work to enhance business understanding in the unit

Qualifications

You are goal- and delivery oriented with a passion for details and excellence in operations, as well as motivated by simplifying complex issues and striving to improve efficiency and business potentials.

  • A team player, with high level of self-initiative, meticulousness and data-orientation
  • Strong analytical skills in translating business requirements into analytical solutions and business opportunities. Knowledge of descriptive, diagnostic, predictive and prescriptive analytical methods and technologies.
  • Good communication skills with the ability to influence decisions and generate energy and engagement within the organisation.
  • Strong experience with analytical tools and predictive modelling as well as database tools, dashboarding tools.
  • In-depth knowledge of developing, launching and operating Power BI applications and making them available for the many user, experience in SQL, Python is a plus.

This role is based in either in Pratteln, Switzerland or Älmhult, Sweden and we are open to discuss other locations where we have teams working with Supply chain development (Dortmund, Warsaw and Shanghai).

You will be part of a distributed team with colleagues in several countries and will report to the Business Navigation Manager, supporting Supply Chain Development.
