The site in is growing and for our Biologics organization, we are currently looking for a Team Lead to join the Buffer Production Team in , our recently launched unique biological manufacturing and development concept.
In this role, you will manage and coach a team of bioprocess engineers. The team focuses on the manufacturing processes and related activities.
The team has the overall responsibility for the creation and improvement of production supporting documents. The manufacturing execution with regard to safety, quality and on-time-in-full delivery will be your key measure.
You will interact with an interdisciplinary team of project leaders, supervisors, MSAT and you will be accountable for the performance and results of the assigned projects.

Key responsibilities :
- Manage a team of process engineers with full responsibility for all aspects of human resource management such as qualification, development, coaching, hiring, pay decisions and discipline issues
- Implement the Lonza culture via openness for change and new ideas, cooperative teamwork and continuous improvement even outside his / her own area of responsibility
- Accountable for the execution of all production campaigns in his / her manufacturing unit with regard to safety, quality and delivery
- First contact person in case of production issues in his / her manufacturing unit according to the common escalation guidelines
- Support MSAT, Production Support, QA and production teams with expertise in solution finding and trouble shooting
- Represent the operational area in customer meetings, audits and regulatory inspections
Key requirements :
- Master degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, Bioengineering or related disciplines
- Working experience in Biotechnical manufacturing
- MES and DeltaV experience
- Good leadership as well as very good communication skills and interaction with all kinds of interfaces within the organization
- Strong team orientation
- Structured, focused and well-organized working attitude; open-minded for new ideas and suggestions
- Agile, highly motivated and dynamic drive; solution-oriented
- Business fluent in German and / or English
