Compliance Officer - Generalist

A private bank in Geneva.Client Onboarding & Due DiligenceConduct in-depth due diligence on both new and existing clients to meet regulatory and internal standards.

Verify identities, analyze sources of wealth, and assess risk in line with KYC protocols.Ensure all client documentation is accurate and complete, providing approvals where necessary.

Take part in specialized reviews, including Russian nexus and commercial accounts.

Ongoing MonitoringKeep a vigilant eye on client transactions to identify unusual activities.Ensure transaction patterns align with KYC / KYT standards and take swift action when discrepancies arise.

Investigate suspicious activities and report findings in compliance with AML regulations.

Regulatory ComplianceStay ahead of the curve on evolving KYC / AML regulations, updating policies as necessary.Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure seamless adherence to all legal requirements.

Training & GuidanceEducate and guide the front teams on the latest KYC processes and compliance updates.Be the go-to expert for any KYC-related questions or issues within the division.

Collaborative ImpactWork closely with departments across wealth management, risk management, legal, and operations to ensure a unified compliance strategy.

Drive innovation by participating in compliance enhancement projects.You have at least 5 years experience for a compliance team in Private Banking You have a certain expertise on KYC and AML missionsA Bachelor's degree with 3-7 years of experience in private banking or in a Big4 for the same type of mission.

Advanced proficiency in English; if you have an additional language like arabic or russian, a plus.Swiss residency is required.Flexibility to travel.

This position is quite interesting as it will cover any need the bank would need in compliance, as if you were working in a Big4 with several mission either in Geneva or in other offices aoad.
