- Preparing and analysing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
- Monitoring and improving accounting processes and systems
- Ensuring compliance with national and international accounting standards
- Liaising with internal and external auditors
- Assisting with budget planning and control
- Preparation of financial reports for management
- Advising and supporting other departments in financial matters
- Degree in finance, accounting or business administration with a focus on finance / accounting, or a comparable qualification
- At least 10 years of professional experience in a similar position
- Prior experience in the financial sector a strong plus
- Deep experience with financial software and MS Office (Excel)
- Sound knowledge of international accounting standards (IFRS)
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and team orientation
- Fluent in English, both orally and in writing; German is a strong plus
- International environment.
