Middle Officer/Risk Analyst

Our client is a Commodity Trading company

Responsibilities :

• Continuously monitor trading activities for potential risks (market, counterparty, operational).
• Analyze financial data and market indicators.
• Evaluate risks tied to new products, trading strategies, and proposed transactions.
• Perform quantitative and qualitative analyses to assess risk exposure.
• Enhance risk management models (mathematical, statistical, simulation, valuation).
• Estimate financial instrument values.
• Prepare regular risk reports for management.
• Collaborate with other departments (front office, back office).
• Ensure adherence to financial regulations and internal standards.
• Monitor regulatory developments and update risk policies.

Profile :

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Numerical, Finance, Computer Science or similar
• 3-5 years' experience, ideally at least 1-1.5 years of direct Shipping experience
• Experience in an Oil Commodity Trading company
• Data analytical skills and Knowledge of IMOS
• Proficient excel, VBA abilities, (Python is a plus)
