Boutique Director, Premium Goods
Job Description
For a growing Premium retailer, we are currently assisting in the recruitment of a hands-on, German / English speaking Boutique Director.
The successful candidate must have strong experience in premium or luxury retail (Accessories, Cosmetics or Jewellery would be a serious plus) and in the management of a large team.
POSITION
Main tasks will be the overall supervision and management of the Boutique.
This will include :
- Supporting Assistant Store Managers with staff management (schedules, replacements)
- Ensuring processes are in place and respected
- Recruiting sales staff and monitoring their integration
- Participate and supervise inventories
- Manage, motivate and develop the sales team
- Ensure proper transmission of information
- Ensure the proper organization and upkeep of the sales outlet
- Monitor activity through various KPIs
But also :
- Occasional participation in training sessions
- Optimize product layout according to points of sale / customers
- Supervise sales events
- Set up and monitor POS displays
- Implement sales policy
- Supervise compliance with operational procedures (checkouts, transfers, inventories)
PROFILE
For this role based in Zurich, the ideal candidate will need to demonstrate a strong interest in, and excellent knowledge of Premium Retail Management and all that goes with it.
The person will also show proof of excellent organizational skills, a thorough knowledge of retail operational processes and a willingness to contribute to the growth of a retail intensive business.
