Investment Analyst /Portfolio Manager Assistant
A single family office in Geneva.Conduct thorough research and analysis of potential investment opportunities across various asset classes, including equities, fixed income, private equity, real estate, and alternative investments.
Prepare detailed investment reports, financial models, and valuation analyses.Assist in conducting comprehensive due diligence on prospective investments, including market research, competitive analysis, and financial performance evaluation.
Coordinate with external advisors and consultants as needed.Monitor existing investments, track performance, and provide regular updates to the CIO.
Assist in the development and implementation of portfolio strategies to optimize returns and manage risk.Prepare regular investment reports and presentations for the CIO and family members.
Maintain and update investment databases and records.Work closely with other team members and external partners to support the overall investment strategy.
Support the Family Principal with any ad hoc analysis requestsParticipate in investment committee meetings as required and contribute to strategic discussions.
You have at least 3-5 years experience in a similar position You can work independentlyBachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
A master's degree or professional qualification, such as a CFA or ACA, is strongly preferred.2-5 years of experience in investment analysis, preferably within a family office, private equity firm, asset management company, investment consultancy, or investment bank.
We will also consider candidates from a Management Consultancy or Big-4 Accountancy background if you can demonstrate sufficient interest and experience in investing.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills.Proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques.Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Proficiency in French or another language is a plus.High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
