Senior Logistic Engineer

Our client is actively seeking a Senior Logistic Engineer to join their dynamic and innovative team in St-Prex.
As a Senior Logistic Engineer, your responsibility will be to support logistic activities. The focus of your role is to understand the business environment of the Warehouse to optimize transportation networks, develop and implement a logistic strategy, analyze supply chain data to identify areas for improvement, collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure operational efficiency, and maintain up-to-date knowledge of logistics technology and trends.
Missions :
- Analyze supply chain data and optimize logistics operations to reduce costs.
- Simplify logistics flows end-to-end (E2E) - In and Out (cartography / Dynamic Flow Analysis).
- Develop business cases and establish financial and non-financial project goals.
- Lead projects using and mastering the PMI methodology.
- Develop, review, and implement logistics processes and procedures.
- Optimize operations by improving performance management, Leader Standard Work, Standard Work, and 5S in collaboration with our OPEX Team.
- Execute productivity programs in Supply Chain Lead Kaizen events or Project Management.
- Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and transportation companies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve logistics issues.
- Improve GMP & GDP standards for logistic activities (Production, Receiving, Picking, and Shipping).
- Lead Change Control & CAPA.
- Lead and develop the warehouse team to use Practical Problem Solving (8D).
- Develop digital reports and KPIs to support Warehouse delivery (Power BI).
- Lead culture change and provide support to Team Leaders in daily business.
- Act as a role model in line with our Ferring Leadership principles and our EHS Standards.
Your Profile :
- Master’s degree (Master in Supply Chain Management or equivalent).
- Previous experience in logistics, plant operations, and in a regulated environment (Pharma, Food, etc.).
- Experience with structured project management methodologies.
- Strong IT skills : BI proficient / MSOffice (Excel - proficient) and SAP / Oracle are a must.
