In Rolle, Switzerland we currently have an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and experienced EMEAI Aftermarket Distribution & Materials Director.

This role will report to VP EMEAI ISC Operations, who is also based in Rolle, Switzerland.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE :

The EMEAI Aftermarket Distribution & Materials Director is responsible for all aftermarket materials management and logistics activities at the plants located in the EMEAI region.

They are also responsible for the European Regional Distribution Center (ERDC) as a Site Operations Leader. This role will lead a team of materials management leaders and planners covering aftermarket parts for the EMEAI region.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Scope of responsibilities include :

  • Functional leadership of all Aftermarket planning personnel in EMEAI.
  • Drive execution of material plans to commitment.
  • Deploy lean supply chain management techniques to leverage agility in the supply chain to support the order fulfillment process.
  • Achieve delivery, inventory, cost and supplier quality targets in line with the Annual Operating Plan.
  • Improve business working capital by optimisation of inventory whilst maximising service levels to both internal and external customers.
  • Align supply chain strategy with EMEAI leadership, Global Distribution Centers and business requirements.
  • Control the allocation of material where there is limited availability due to global supply constraints.
  • Define, document and continuously improve Planning standard operating procedures.
  • Support high levels of cross-functional collaboration to continually improve wider business processes.
  • Team development and talent management through effective mentoring, coaching and performance management.
  • Lead logistics strategic plan and deployment for the region with regards to 3PL providers and deploy initiatives to improve service level and reduce costs.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Deep understanding of ERP systems (SAP Material Management Module, MRP systems)
  • Excellent english language skills.
  • Ability to lead cross-cultural / cross-functional / multi-site teams in a virtual environment.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint) and SAP / Oracle.
  • Degree in Engineering / Business / Economics or related field of study.
  • Proven track record in successful leadership
  • Capability to foster and drive change in the organisation
  • Strong organisational and leadership skills in an international environment
  • Ability to lead and drive projects to completion
  • Strong communication skills
