Principal RWE Consultant
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Principal Real World Evidence Consultant to join the Medical Evidence Practice (MEP) team, a globally recognised leader in Real-World Evidence (RWE).

The role : As a Principal Real World Evidence Consultant within the Medical Evidence Practice team, you will play a vital role in business development, client relationship management, project leadership, and team development.
Your ability to identify client needs, develop custom RWE and medical affairs solutions, and build long-term partnerships with key accounts will be crucial to the success of this role.
You will work closely with sales and other go-to-market teams, engaging with senior stakeholders to drive evidence generation strategies and deliver cutting-edge RWE programmes.
Key Responsibilities :
- Meet or exceed sales targets by consulting with clients to understand their needs and leading the proposal development process
- Build relationships with senior leaders at key accounts to drive RWE opportunities and identify further opportunities across the broader business
- Serve as the RWE and MEP expert for key accounts, working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure a coordinated approach
- Lead teams of professionals in the design, development, and delivery of complex RWE products
- Take responsibility for client satisfaction, ensuring high-quality delivery that meets or exceeds expectations
- Mentor and coach junior employees, supporting their professional development both on-project and through formal coaching programmes
- Take a leadership role in internal initiatives such as recruitment, wellbeing, or employee resource groups
- Enhance awareness of real-world and medical affairs activities through meetings, speaking engagements, and publications
- Build external stakeholder relationships to promote market positioning and expand capabilities in patient data assets, healthcare intelligence tools, and commercial services
Desired Skills and Experience :
- Minimum 8 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with expertise in real-world evidence, medical affairs, health economics and outcomes research (HEOR), or market access
- Consulting or professional services experience is essential
- Strong track record of developing and delivering innovative solutions across the evidence lifecycle (strategy, execution, dissemination)
- Proven success in selling complex studies and strategic engagements to global clients
- Commercial awareness, with experience balancing client relationship management and commercial objectives
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate conceptual ideas into actionable strategies
- Experience managing virtual teams and enabling individuals to deliver high-quality client work
- Excellent interpersonal and networking skills, with experience in coaching junior team members and developing offerings through innovation models (e.
g., open innovation, ideation)
