Lab Technician (DSP)

We are looking for a laboratory technician (m / f / d) for the DSP (Downstream Process Development) department at the Visp site.
Our team develops purification methods for biomolecules. As a member of our team at Lonza Pharma, Biotech & Nutrition (LPBN) in Visp, Switzerland, you will plan and carry out laboratory experiments for the purification of proteins in close cooperation with the project teams.
Key responsibilities :
- Preparation and implementation of laboratory experiments
- Documentation and evaluation of the experiments
- Ensuring the technical and administrative maintenance of the operation, equipment and warehouse.
- Supervision and training of new team members (e.g. laboratory technician apprentices).
Key requirements :
- Laboratory technician training (EFZ) or a Bachelor in Life Sciences
- Experience in chromatography, TFF and filtration is an advantage
- Flexible, independent, good communication, teamwork skills and enjoy interdisciplinary collaboration.
- Working proficiency in English, German knowledge is an advantage
- Knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and an affinity for computer-aided laboratory systems.
