The Master of Arts in Animation programme builds on the successful Bachelor ofAnimation. Traditionally committed to artistic film, we offer our students the space todevelop and produce their own projects as part of the degree programme, and to findtheir own artistic and creative language.

Tasks and job requirements

Coordination and realisation of teaching at Master's level in the area of animation content, craft and design for narrative and experimental animation projects- Teaching conceptual and practical skills as well as supervising student projects (artistic and practical MA theses)- Selected courses in the BA Animation programme- Maintaining and expanding your professional network- Co-organisation of external projects and collaborations- Participation in the further development of content and the strategic and organizational direction of the MA Animation programme- Team and project work on site, participation in meetings and events- Integration of practice and teaching approaches;

collaboration in research is possible.

Your profile

• You are an internationally renowned personality in artistic animation film.- You have an open, forward-looking perspective and a critical interest in socially relevant issues.
• You are committed, communicative and have an excellent international network in the animation community.- You have experience in university teaching, especially in teaching practical and artistic skills.
• You meet students at eye level and accompany them on their way to developing relevant, well-researched and critically scrutinised topics with the means of animation in an innovative way and and at a high technical level.
• You enjoy working in a team.- You are interested in future technologies such as AI or virtual production and in using them in your work and in teaching.
• You have a university degree at master level (or comparable), preferably in the field of animation or related disciplines;

a doctorate is an advantage.- You have an interest in the further development of progressive teaching formats and methods, reflect on new pedagogical possibilities and take a critical look at them with your students.

You have a very good command of English (teaching in English)
