Specialist Accounting & Financial Management
Your new job
- Functional management of the finance department with approx. 4 employees (general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable)
- Responsibility for the preparation of the monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with the Swiss Code of Obligations and IFRS for our two Swiss companies
- Ensure legal and tax compliance according to Group policies
- Developing and optimising existing processes according to best practice
- Responsible for the VAT returns for Switzerland, Germany, and the Netherlands, as well as monitoring the correct VAT processing in the respective countries
- Taking an active role in managing foreign exchange and liquidity
- Responsible for company cars and the management of company expenses
- Taking responsibility for or working on projects
Your knowledge, your abilities, your experience
- Completed higher education and further training with a specialisation in finance and accounting (Chartered Specialist in Accounting & Financial Managment or an equivalent qualification)
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in finance and accounting in an international and industrial group environment in the same position
- Extensive SAP FI / CO experience (having worked with SAP's other modules, SD and MM, would be an advantage)
- Excellent MS Office skills, in particular Excel, and a high level of IT affinity
- Business fluent in German and English, both spoken and written
- High initiative, integrity and strong sense of responsibility
- High level of social skills and enjoyment of collaboration with other departments and teams
- Service-oriented, reliable and conscientious
- A proactive, curious, assertive and networked personality with a sense of optimisation potential
