The Opportunity
Our Data Management team at Worldline is on the cusp of transformative change, moving from established on-premises data solutions towards a future crafted in the cloud.
As a Fintech Data Analyst, you'll play a pivotal role in this transition, starting with your expertise in SAP-BO and Oracle Data Warehouse (DWH) systems, and gradually embracing the innovative realms of Looker and Google Cloud BigQuery + dbt Core service.
Our Data Management team focuses on leveraging data to redefine the financial technology landscape, making strategic, data-driven decisions that enhance customer experiences and operational efficiency.

Your Mission : A Dual-Focused Journes from Current State to Future Vision
In this dynamic role, you'll initially dive deep into our current data systems, focusing on SAP-BO and Oracle DWH views to maintain, manage, and improve our day-to-day data analysis and reporting tasks.
Your initial responsibilities will include :
- Managing and optimising SAP BO Universe models, reports, and dashboards to ensure they deliver critical insights to our stakeholders
- Overseeing the performance and integrity of our Oracle DWH views using PL-SQL, ensuring data quality and accessibility
- Collaborating with our Data Management team members (organisational (PO, TLs) and technical roles (data engineers, architects, SREs)), Business Engineers, and Project Manages to work on the day-to-day requirements and improve our current data practices, enhancing efficiency, and driving innovation
- Providing technical support and expertise to internal and external business and technical teams, helping them to understand and make the most of our data reporting tools
- Oversee and maintain the Windows Server hosting SAP BO and be available for on-call duties (weekends included)
As we pivot towards a cloud-first strategy, you will be at the forefront of learning and implementing Looker and Google Cloud BigQuery + dbt solutions.
This part of your journey will involve :
- Gain expertise in BigQuery, dbt, and Looker, with structured learning and hands-on projects designed to prepare you for our future data architecture
- Playing a key role in the migration of our data insights from SAP BO and Oracle DWH to Google Cloud, ensuring a seamless transition with minimal disruption
- Developing new cloud-based reports and analytics dashboards that leverage BigQuery, dbt Core, and Looker's capabilities, providing deeper insights and supporting strategic decisions
Who Are We Looking For
We look for big thinkers. People who can drive positive change, step up and show what’s next people with passion, can-do attitude and a hunger to learn and grow.
In practice this means :
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or a related field, with minimum 3 years of experience in data analysis
- Strong foundation in data analysis, with experience in SAP-BO and Oracle DWH
- Eagerness to learn and transition to cloud-based data solutions, specifically Google Cloud's BigQuery and Looker
- Ability to manage and navigate both current on-premises and future cloud-based data environments effectively
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with a knack for identifying and implementing improvements to data processes
- Strong communication abilities, capable of explaining complex data concepts in clear terms to various stakeholders
- A team player attitude, ready to share knowledge, learn from colleagues, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and innovation
- Proficiency in English, with a willingness to learn German
