Join our growing Climate Change and Sustainability Services (CCaSS) team as a Senior Consultant. You will be a member of a multidisciplinary team to help clients build and manage their sustainability approach aiming at addressing rising stakeholder concerns and new regulatory requirements, achieving more transparent non-financial reporting and seizing opportunities for integrating sustainability aspects in business processes, incl. supplier management and risk mitigation.
We welcome applicants with a variety of backgrounds and experience in the fields of sustainability and are particularly interested in candidates who can demonstrate knowledge related to EU Taxonomy reporting, as well as other EU regulatory requirements related to environmental and social topics. Assurance experience is not required but is an asset.
Your key responsibilities
- Work on client projects, contributing to subject matter expertise and delivery of :
- EU Taxonomy assessments : completion of eligibility and alignment assessments, including analysis of substantial contribution, do no significant harm (DNSH) for various sectors and activities.
- EU Taxonomy reporting : support of clients with calculating the EU Taxonomy key performance indicators (KPIs), i.e. environmentally sustainable revenue, CapEx and OpEx and preparing the according disclosures.
- Other sustainability reporting requirements : knowledge of other regulatory requirements to perform gap assessments, gap closure implementation and assurance over non-financial information.
- Support with development of our EU Taxonomy solution offering and stay up to date with sustainability and EU Taxonomy matters, e.g. as part of working groups.
- Understand the range of EY service offerings and actively seek opportunities to develop new solutions and better serve clients.
- Contribute to EY’s reputation as a market leader.
- Contribute to and help shape the team’s development through recruitment activities, coaching, mentoring, and training.
