Microsoft Senior System Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Senior System Engineer with in-depth knowledge of Windows systems and Microsoft Azure to join our Technology Platform team with immediate effect.
What would your role be?
- Planning, engineering and operation of complex IT infrastructures and business applications (Windows, Microsoft Azure) : Design it, implement it, run it
- Responsibility for dedicated Hyper-V environments, as well as engineering the next generation solution
- Further development of Automation solutions with PowerShell (Infrastructure as Code)
- Supporting the implementation and management of security measures and contributing expertise to challenging problems
- Ensuring system availability, performance optimization and regular maintenance of the IT infrastructure
- Working closely with internal and external partners to solve complex technical problems
What are we looking for?
- Degree in computer science (university, ETH or FH) or a comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience as a system engineer, ideally in a similar position
- Very good knowledge in the administration of Windows servers and Microsoft Azure
- Strong communication skills, the ability to work in a team, initiative as well as independent and proactive work
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills and a proactive way of working
- Good command of written and spoken German and English
- Certifications such as Microsoft Certified (Azure, Core Infrastructure) are an advantage
- Willing to work on-call
