Senior Group Communications Project Leader
CONTEXT & MISSION :
The L'OCCITANE Group Communications team seeks a committed self-starter for the role of Senior Group Communications Project Leader .
This position leads the Group's external creative content, bringing to life the Group strategy to promote the company along the three pillars : People, Planet, and Profit.
The role involves producing engaging content that resonates with external audiences both autonomously and in collaboration with creative agencies.
The position is based in Plan-Les-Ouates (near Geneva) and is reporting to the Group Corporate Communication Director .
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Lead external content to promote the Group along People, Planet, and Profit
- Spearhead process to source, create and validate content
- Produce engaging content for the Group's channels in collaboration with creative agencies
- Group Social Media : copy and visual content creation, posting and community management
- Corporate website : ongoing update and optimisation of the website and its content
- Support the creation of Group brand assets and ensure alignment across materials
- Support rollout of Group communications campaigns, policies and best practices
- Support the organisation of Group events including speaking ops, trade shows and sponsorships
- Support markets / entities in Group comms efforts
- Support Group's Media Relations and PR
- Create planning documents, liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and prioritisation, coordinate communications projects
- Monitor issues and provide ad-hoc support, team support in case of crisis and maintenance of crisis materials
- Internal reporting on Group communications activities
- Budget operations
HOW YOU CAN FIT :
- Degree in communications, marketing, event or related field
- 5 years of experience in communication, with project management and in content production
- Native level of English is required for this position, French is a big plus
- Proven expertise in planning, developing / producing and sharing engaging communications materials and digital content;
basic skills in graphic design are mandatory & basic skills in video production a plus
- Demonstrated project and event management skills. Experience in coordinating projects internationally is a strong plus
- Proven track record handling social networks (LinkedIn, Instagram, Workplace, Sociabble, etc.)
- Experience with content management system (CMS) for websites / social is a plus
- Keen interest in corporate sustainability (biodiversity, climate, circular economy, DE&I)
- A proactive approach, with initiative and ability to work independently and solve problems on the fly
- A keen eye for detail, ability to multi-task, across various channels
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the maturity to handle complexity and exposure
- Appetite for change and challenges, at ease in an international environment with remote & multicultural teams

LOCATION : Geneva (Plan-les-Ouates), Switzerland
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS : frequent travel between European subsidiaries. Able and willing to travel worldwide if required.
