Experis IT Switzerland is currently on the search for a Python Developer to join one of their clients, an international company.
As a member of the CTRM team, located in Geneva, Switzerland, you will :
Mission :
- Be part of a global development team
- Take ownership of a desk driven initiative and re-architecture the application where applicable
- Write modular, reusable components to liaise between external sources of data, internal tools and databases
- Maintain the cleanliness and centrality of the Vitol Python codebase
- Port legacy code to Python where appropriate
- Be able to translate business requirements into a technical delivery following existing patterns where possible
Profile :
- 5 + years of enterprise-level coding experience in Python,
- Experience building backend application in Python is a must,
- Experience using a TypeScript framework ideally ,
- Database knowledge (Oracle, Postgres, Redis) and SQL,
- Strong understanding of object-oriented design, design patterns, SOA architectures,
- Proficient understanding of peer-reviewing, code versioning, and bug / issue tracking tools,
- Familiarity with containerization solutions like Docker
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to drive interactions with project stakeholders,
- Proactive and user-focused, with a can-do attitude and a genuine interest in the functional as well as technical
- Drives software development best practices,
- Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines and manage changing priorities
- Excellent English oral and written skills,
- French language skills an advantage
