We are looking for an experienced C++ Development Engineer to join a global engineering and manufacturing leader in technology that does cool stuff that matters.

In this role you will focus on software development for our satellite based positioning service software solutions. You will have the opportunity to solve challenging problems related to enabling high capacity, high reliability, scalability, and configurability.

Your technical expertise will support our business initiatives and impact the end-users experience. You will be working in an international environment using the latest cutting-edge technologies that are the backbone of Hexagon's 24 / 7 HxGN SmartNet correction services.

German is not necessarily required. However, proficiency in English is a must.

Regarding candidates from abroad : clear preference for candidates from Switzerland and the EU region.

The application process consists of three stages :

• Teams interview with the Hiring Manager and myself.
• Technical interview with the Hiring Manager and other technical experts.
• On-site interview.

Candidates must have

• Professional experience in software development in C++17 or higher with Boost libraries and Conan package management system
• Proven experience in multithreaded applications, distributed systems and networking
• very good communication skills
• Ability to program on Windows systems with the newest Visual Studio
• Passionate about software and recent innovations
