Associate Director/Director Opzelura Brand Lead, Europe
Overview
Summary
Reporting to the Business Lead IAI, Region Europe and member of the IAI EU Core Team. Leads, develops and executes marketing strategy & activities for Opzelura (Ruxolitinib Cream) in close alignment with GPS, Commercial Operations, Medical Affairs, Market Access & other stakeholder functions.
This person is the lead for the Opzelura Brand Team and works in a matrix structure with the Product Marketers for Opzelura in the countries.
Working with European country colleagues and IAI leads as appropriate.
Duties and Responsibilities
Opzelura
- Drives European strategy, coordinates multi-functional activities and leverages input from cross functional and affiliate stakeholders as appropriate to optimize the value of the brand within Europe
- Leads & drives launch readiness strategy for all indications, reviews and tracking in close collaboration with the country brand teams.
- Represents Incyte IAI in commercial / marketing interactions with external stakeholders ensuring European needs are considered
- Contributes as appropriate to global product positioning, pricing strategy and marketing plans ensuring EU requirements are represented
- Leads cross functional European Brand Team
- Leads, guides & supports affiliate commercial / marketing colleagues to embed and execute European Opzelura brand & strategy
- Builds strong brand belief across all functions & into affiliates & ensures internal communications carry this through
- Drives the development of the cross functional European brand plan in coordination with relevant functions and country teams
- Consistently monitors brand dynamics and performance to maneuver marketing mix levers to enhance growth
- Leads Opzelura forecasting of EU sales in co-ordination with Commercial Operations & with country BUDs / GMs
- Works with manufacturing & supply chain to optimize product packaging as premium brand in topical space
- Ensures commercial input into distribution channels, SKU choices and supply chain volumes in aligned with forecast and launch timelines
- Provides input and insights to Global Analytics on market research needs for Europe and supports the regional market research activities in co-ordination with Commercial Operations
- Ensures systematic collection, interpretation and sharing of competitive intelligence at congress & more broadly on an ongoing basis
- Ensures tactical roll-out of regional activities, e.g. campaigns, materials, e-marketing, international meeting materials and booths in co-ordination with EU Events and country teams are on brand and on strategy
- Leads working relationship with creative agencies and supporting 3rd party commercial vendors
- Monitor and control brand budgets, forecasts and expenses, and assess the marketing mix to evaluate ROI
General
- Ensures compliance with applicable regulations and company compliance standards
- Contribute positively to a strong culture of business integrity and ethics
- Act within compliance and legal requirements as well as within company guidelines
Requirements
- University degree in Science and / or degree in Business
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience in biotech or pharmaceuticals Sales & Marketing
- Experience in dermatology & / or immunology
- Country Brand Management & Key Account Manager experienced
- EU and / or multi-county experience
- Proven track record of achievements in sales and marketing
- Experience in cross functional / matrix management
- Proven ability to take the lead on projects and drive them to successful completion
- Office-based in Morges, Switzerland
- 30-35% travel anticipated
- Excellent spoken and written English. Other language abilities are a plus.
