Assistant Electrician - Explora Journeys
JOB PURPOSE
The Assistant Electrician collaborates with the Electrical department in order to proactively and efficiently address the assigned duties and responsibilities.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Follow the instructions of the Chief Electrician concerning methods and procedures for the maintenance of the electrical equipment.
- When necessary, help the Electricians in the maintenance of hotel machinery.
- Work always in accordance with acceptable standards, avoiding wastage of materials, and always respecting all injury prevention rules.
- Ensure the cleanliness and tidiness of electricians workshop, electrician rooms and tools.
- Daily check and replacement of burned lamp.
QUALIFICATIONS (skills, competencies, experience)
- Intermediate oral and written English (working & Safety language of the Company). Any additional language is valuable (Italian, Portuguese, German, Spanish, Russian or French,..);
- Previous work experience in a similar position within MSC or other Cruise company or in a related field and willingness to train;
- High School Graduate with appropriate licenses as required;
- Team player and proactive.
VISA REQUIREMENTS (if any)
Possess valid passport and seaman book.
