Market Insights Associate

We are looking for a Market Insights Associate for our client, a global leader in the industry, to generate market and customer insights related to Oncology and Informatics, providing data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities :

• Deliver market and revenue model projections on a global level
• Become subject matter expert on diverse databases, translating data into trends with strategic importance and business impact
• Interpret and contextualize analytical findings within the existing research and data, providing timely competitive insights
• Build relationships with affiliates and establish communication channels
• Partner with business stakeholders to understand the information they need to make decisions and the options they have to obtain data
• Maintain vendor relationships and work with Procurement to gain competitive insights from customers, physicians, patients, and other healthcare system stakeholders
• Develop, refine, and communicate insights by analysing data from multiple sources, including primary and secondary research, competitive intelligence, and financial performance
• Manage competitive workshops, scenario discussions, and other leadership forums to share market and customer insights
• Attend trade shows or conferences and provide reports and strategies

Must Haves :

• Master’s degree, MBA or Ph.D. in business or the life sciences preferred
• 3-5 years experience in life sciences, pharmaceutical or medical device, is required
• Knowledge of market research techniques (market assessment; new product requirements; market segmentation; marketing positioning, concept and message testing;

feature / benefit trade-off studies; etc)

Analytical and financial modelling skills (ability to understand SEC filings and analyst reports; break down complicated market models;

triangulate market sizing information from diverse data sources; build forecasts from clearly articulated assumptions)

• Ability to work well in an Agile environment and work across customer and functional areas
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and act as a business partner
