Master Data Coordinator (Limited Contract)

We are currently looking for a Master Data Coordinator for our St. Gallen location to join us on a temporary basis, until the end of March 2025.

In this position, you will be coordinating and performing Material Master Data creation and maintenance requests within given timelines and according to defined guidelines and quality standards and acting as Global SME for Material Master Data.

You will be reporting to the Head of Master Data Management & SAP Business Support.

Main Tasks

Create and maintain the material master data and bill of material (BOM) in the SAP system

Create and maintain SD Master Data in the SAP system

Manage Change Master and related processes

Manage the cross-functional workflow for new SKU activation

Coordinate cross-functional communication and, if necessary, collect and provide information

Ensure master data accuracy

Troubleshoot master data-driven system errors

Support, guide, and influence other master data users to ensure adherence to global best practices

Assist with internal and external audits.

Perform checks on accuracy of master data and requests updates as needed.

Setup and maintain procedural and Master data governance documents

Training of stakeholders

Your Profile

The knowledge and skills necessary to perform the duties of this position are typically acquired through the following combination of education, experience and knowledge, or the equivalent.

Minimum Requirements

High school diploma or apprenticeship in IT or Supply Chain

Some experience (1-3 years) working in the pharmaceutical industry

2 years expertise in the use of ERP systems

Good understanding of how to create and maintain the material master and BOMs

Detail-oriented, problem solver, ability to perform analysis and validate results

Good interpersonal skills

Strong communication and organizational skills

Excellent command of German and English both spoken and written

Preferred Requirements

Demonstrated advanced knowledge of SAP

Ability to understand interconnection between the processes and consider the whole picture

Additional language skills are an advantage
