In the role of FP&A Manager you will be responsible for the execution of quantitative and qualitative analysis, directly supporting the Manufacturing and Operations function and coordinating a unified approach to closely measure, report and compare production costs among all SHL manufacturing sites.

The role will be based in Zug, Switzerland and is part of the Global Financial Planning & Analysis Team, reporting into the Global Head of FP&A.

Main Responsibilities

  • Finance Business Partner for Chief Operating Officer (COO) and the Operations organization
  • Develop, distribute and discuss monthly financial reporting packages, focusing on operations and manufacturing performance, tracking productivity, material expenses, operating expenses, absorption, etc.
  • Responsible for collecting and reporting CAPEX needs for the global Operations organization (CH / US / TW)
  • Drive process standardization for product costing across all manufacturing sites
  • Support the Operations organization with all budgeting and forecasting needs
  • Responsible for overseeing and assuring consistency and high quality of standard costing approach for all global manufacturing sites
  • Support the ramp-up of the Swiss manufacturing site
  • Implement KPIs for the Operations organization and drive continuous monitoring of performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing variances
  • Support COO and Operations departments heads with solid data and in-depth analyses to support decision making and ad-hoc reporting requests
  • Detect and discuss potentials in the business area with the relevant stakeholders to improve performance, efficiency or results
  • Support the global product cost simulation initiative, by delivering correct data and acquire deep understanding of the cost drivers, methodology and calculations
  • Support global one team approach within the Finance team and work closely with different functions and country teams in SHL

Minimum requirements

  • Bachelor or University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Accounting or Engineering.
  • Min 5+ years of Finance experience in a Manufacturing environment
  • Solid experience in cost accounting, product costing and manufacturing productivity in high-volume production environments
  • Strong team player with excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Story-telling skills, being able to translate financial data into a management presentation
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and solution-oriented mindset
  • Being responsible, resilient and stress resistant
  • Ability to gain trust at all levels of the organization
  • Experience in multicultural environment
  • Comfortable working in a changing and dynamic environment
  • Fluent in English is a must

Preferred qualifications

  • Strong know-how of SAP S4, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), SAP BW or other BI systems
  • German and / or Mandarin are a plus
  • Willingness to travel
