Join to apply for the SAP Ariba Consultant role at Sword Group We are opening a position for a SAP Ariba CIG Consultant to strengthen our client's team. This role requires deep expertise in integrating SAP Ariba with SAP backend systems, with a strong focus on configuring and customizing SAP Ariba Cloud Integration Gateway (CIG) . The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in SAP Ariba implementations and a solid understanding of integration technologies. Job Responsibilities Configure and customize SAP Ariba Cloud Integration Gateway (CIG) to meet specific client needs. Design and implement integration solutions, including writing detailed technical specifications. Utilize the CIG mapping tool for data transformation and integration processes. Manage and extend SAP Ariba CIG Addon in the SAP backend, leveraging enhancement points and BADIs. Perform troubleshooting and issue resolution related to SAP Ariba CIG integrations. Work with integration technologies such as SOAP, REST, XML, IDoc, and EDI. Implement and manage SAP Business Network (SBN) integration with SAP backend systems, including SBN SCC (Supply Chain Collaboration) and SBN MT (Material Traceability). Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and project success. Job Requirements 10+ years of experience in SAP Ariba project implementations , with a global scope. 5+ years of hands-on experience with SAP Ariba Cloud Integration Gateway (CIG) and CIG Addon in SAP backend. Strong knowledge of ABAP programming (at least ABAP debugging). Proficiency in REST APIs , including API design, development, and management (Postman experience required). Familiarity with SAP middleware platforms such as SAP PI / PO, SAP CPI is a plus. Good understanding of procurement flows and supplier collaboration principles. Strong problem-solving skills, autonomy, and result-oriented mindset. Excellent command of English (French is a plus but not mandatory). Experience with Agile methodologies is a plus.
