You will develop and support execution of strategic plans to enhance the company's digital technology capabilities, optimize customer experiences, and leverage emerging technologies to drive operational efficiency and revenue growth, while helping to develop / allocate and track budget to effectively achieve these goals. /liliA blend of a strategic thinker and technological expert with change management skills. They should be adept at crafting and executing comprehensive digital technological transformation strategies, leveraging emerging technologies and products to enhance customer experiences and drive revenue growth. This role will also work with internal technology stakeholders, including senior technology leaders, and functional business partners to understand business requirements and resources that will drive organizational growth.br/li /ulstrongKey Responsibilitiesbr/strongulliSupport and manage Technology Strategy for Viking’s Operations, as part of the broader Technology team /liliDevelop and maintain technology roadmaps that guide the implementation of tech solutions across the business and align with business leaders on new needs / changing priorities /liliPrepare Executive and Steering Committee presentations that synthesize findings, and communicate action items and recommendations to management and leadership /liliBe an integral part of the IT PMO and work with IT teams, business units, and other functional teams to assist in implementation of technology strategy and oversee execution of select initiatives /liliWork with functional technology and business teams to develop and manage annual technology budgets to deliver on technology strategy and priorities /liliIdentify risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure the success of strategic efforts /liliStay up to date with emerging technologies and trends and make recommendations on how they can be leveraged to improve solutions, experiences customer engagement /liliSupport development of annual long-range planning process for technology strategy. Elements include overseeing required quantitative and qualitative analyses, developing budget for key initiatives, and writing presentations for the Leadership team and Board of Directors /liliServe as a liaison with business partners, including Ocean Ops. River Ops, HR, Finance, etc. convening key stakeholders to drive consensus and actionbr/li /ulstrongKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:br/strongstrongCore Competenciesbr/strongulliRelevant Strategy Experience: 2+ years of strategy experience from a top-tier technology consulting and/or management consulting firm /liliRelevant Industry Experience: experience working in travel, tourism, hospitality, retail, or analogous industry. Diverse industry experience is also welcomed. Experience working in a corporate environment is preferred /liliRelevant Functional Experience: The ideal candidate will have a broad understanding of digital technology strategy and transformation, technical enough to understand integrations, attribution, and work alongside technology team as a respected partner. Proven experience in strategy, operations and execution of the tech strategy and transformation strongly preferred /liliStructured and Logical Thinking: The ability to dissect a problem into an organized approach and quickly form a hypothesis against which to run test analysis /liliAnalytical Rigor: Ability to run and manage complicated quantitative analysis and develop detailed technology budgets in a defect-free manner /liliEducational Credentials: undergraduate degree or master’s degree from a top-tier academic institutionbr/li /ulPERSONAL QUALIFICATIONS:brThe candidate selected for this position will be a creative, out-of-the-box thinker who is intellectually curious with a demonstrated interest in learning.
