Work closely with Business Analysts, Technical Architects and Solution Architects to continuously improve front-end applications and APIs.
Collaborate with third-party software vendors to integrate, support and maintain software components.
Work alongside Software Engineers across all development activities related to applications and APIs.
Manage and optimise the deployment of applications from development through to production, with a strong focus on automation, reliability and quality.
Implement advanced monitoring, analytics and observability capabilities to provide proactive and predictive insights.
Develop and maintain code related to configuration and security components.
Investigate production incidents, conduct root-cause analyses and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement appropriate solutions.
Guide Software Engineers on operational topics including reliability, maintainability, performance and production readiness.
Promote DevOps and software engineering best practices, with a strong focus on automation and continuous improvement.
Encourage data-driven decision-making by defining and monitoring relevant technical and operational metrics.

In-depth software engineering knowledge and expertise across development, maintenance and continuous improvement.
Strong experience with Java, Spring, the JVM and related Java technologies.
Strong experience with REST APIs, including API design, versioning and maintenance, as well as good networking knowledge.
Strong experience with reverse proxies such as Apache.
Proficiency with SQL databases, particularly PostgreSQL and Oracle.
Practical experience with build pipelines, Java application delivery and deployments to Linux or Kubernetes environments.
Experience with monitoring, observability and alerting platforms such as Dynatrace, Grafana, Prometheus or Icinga.
Strong team spirit, autonomy, organisational skills and attention to detail.
Master’s degree in Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in French and/or English.

Interest in finance and/or good knowledge of financial environments.
Knowledge of OpenID Connect (OIDC) and OAuth 2.0 authentication protocols.
Experience with TLS/SSL, certificates and encryption.
Experience with GitHub workflows.
Knowledge of network security and firewalls.
Experience with cloud infrastructure and deployments, particularly AWS and/or Azure.
Knowledge of containers and orchestration technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes and Helm.
Experience with Python and/or Bash scripting.
Strong understanding of automation, Infrastructure as Code and XaaS principles, including tools such as Puppet.
Knowledge of NoSQL technologies such as MongoDB and Elasticsearch.
Hands-on experience working with Agile methodologies.
