Auditor, Hedge Funds - Geneva

Our client is a successful audit and regulatory consulting company with many years of expertise in delivering regulated audits and compliance solutions to valued funds and financial services clients. On their behalf, we are seeking an experienced and professional qualified Swiss Auditor to join their Geneva office.

The successful candidate will lead statutory and prudential audits while providing regulatory consulting services to regulated fund and asset management clients. Applicants must have strong experience conducting audits within the Swiss financial services sector, particularly within asset management and investment funds.

Federal Audit Oversight Authority accreditation would be highly advantageous, along with hands-on experience in FINMA prudential audits and regulatory consulting. A strong understanding of Swiss legislative and compliance requirements is essential, including AMLA, FinSA, FinIA, the Banking Act and relevant FINMA rules and circulars.

The role requires an organised and accountable professional who can work autonomously, take initiative and maintain the highest standards of quality. You must be able to perform effectively under pressure, manage competing priorities and meet strict deadlines.

To be considered, you should hold a university degree or equivalent qualification in accounting, finance, economics, controlling or a related discipline. You will also have a minimum of eight years of post-qualification experience within auditing. Fluency in written and spoken French and English is required, while knowledge of an additional language would be beneficial.
