You will work closely with trading, operations, business stakeholders and technology teams to maintain and evolve critical order routing, market connectivity and execution workflows within a global trading environment.br /strongKey Responsibilities: /strong /pulliDesign, configure and maintain FIX-based trading connectivity with external counterparties, brokers, exchanges and trading venues /liliDefine, implement and optimize workflows across order routing, execution management and post-trade processes /liliConfigure, test and deploy new trading connectivity solutions and functionality enhancements /liliSupport onboarding of trading venues, brokers and external execution providers /liliAnalyse incidents, trading flow issues and connectivity problems across multiple systems and stakeholders /liliCollaborate with business users, traders and operations teams to improve efficiency and reliability of trading workflows /liliCreate and maintain technical documentation, interface specifications and operational procedures /liliParticipate in project delivery activities related to trading connectivity, market access and platform enhancements /li /ulh1Candidate Profile /h1pYou hold a university-level qualification in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or a related discipline and bring several years of current, hands-on experience supporting and enhancing electronic trading connectivity solutions within a financial institution.br /strongAdditionally: /strong /pulliMinimum strong5 years of practical experience working with FIX Protocol connectivity /strong in a banking, broker-dealer, asset management or capital markets environment /liliStrong hands-on knowledge of strongFIX messaging, FIX session management, order routing and electronic trading workflows /strong /liliExperience supporting trading activities across one or more asset classes such as strongEquities, Fixed Income, Foreign Exchange or Derivatives /strong /liliGood understanding of market access, execution flows, settlement processes and post-trade lifecycle events /liliPractical experience with strongTLS, encryption technologies, certificate management and secure trading connectivity /strong /liliStrong networking knowledge, including strongTCP/IP, connectivity troubleshooting and message flow analysis /strong /liliExperience investigating and resolving production incidents related to FIX sessions, order routing and trading infrastructure /liliExposure to front-office trading platforms, execution management systems (EMS) or order management systems (OMS) /liliKnowledge of strongPython scripting /strong for automation, monitoring or troubleshooting is advantageous /liliExperience working with enterprise banking or trading platforms is beneficial /liliStrong analytical mindset with excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities /liliAbility to work independently while engaging effectively with traders, operations teams and technology stakeholders /liliFluent in English; German is advantageous /lilistrongValid CH work permit or EU/EFTA citizenship required /strong /lilistrongWillingness to work 100% on-site /strong /li /ulbr /strongBenefits: /strongulliCentral city office locations across Switzerland /liliAbove average insurance coverage fully borne our client /liliContribution to health insurance and meal allowance /liliExcellent opportunities for further training and personal development /liliInternational environment /li /ul
